About Sumbal

Assalam-o-Alaikum! My name is Sumbal Tanveer, an award-winning artist and a Fine Arts student at the National College of Arts (NCA), Rawalpindi, admitted on open merit. My passion for art began in childhood and has grown into a lifelong journey of learning, creating, and competing. I have earned recognition in national and international art competitions, including two Gold Medals and a Bronze Medal in The Little Art competition, along with international art certificates.
I want to teach because I believe every person has creative potential waiting to be discovered. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, encouraging creativity, and helping students develop both artistic skills and confidence. Seeing my students improve and enjoy the creative process is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive learning environment where every student feels inspired to achieve their artistic goals.

About the lesson

Assalam-o-Alaikum! I'm Sumbal Tanveer, an award-winning artist and a Fine Arts student at the National College of Arts (NCA), RWP, admitted on open merit. My artistic journey has earned me recognition in both national and international competitions, including two Gold Medals and a Bronze Medal in The Art competition, along with international art certificates and participation in prestigious international art competitions.
I teach drawing, acrylic painting, charcoal drawing, painting and much more to children, beginners, school students, and aspiring art students. My lessons are designed to match each student's learning level and goals, creating a supportive environment where creativity and confidence can grow.
My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals such as observation, sketching, shading, composition, color theory, and painting techniques through practical, step-by-step guidance. Whether you are learning art as a hobby, improving your skills, or preparing for an art college entrance test, I will help you progress with patience, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
I believe art is more than just creating beautiful pictures—it is a way to express ideas, emotions, and imagination. My goal is to inspire every student to enjoy the learning process while developing the skills and confidence to create artwork they can be proud of. I look forward to helping you begin or continue your artistic journey!
