About Junior

I have been a writer for 5 years, with my first feature film produced and screened in UK cinemas at the age 17. I have a degree in Moving Image from the University of Brighton and since graduating I have successfully written & directed a number of short films that have won awards internationally (L.A Independent short awards, New York's Midnight Film Festival) and have worked with major film & advertising companies such as ARRI, Rolls Royce & Warner Bros.

I am currently the head of my own production company 13 Pictures, along with a network of freelancers that work regularly for BBC, BFI, Warner Bros, Netflix, and MTV.

About the lesson

I offer bespoke lessons, most valuable at a one to one level. This means each lesson is based on your needs as a screenwriter.
I am able to teach at a basic level to intermediate which means these lessons are great for writers wanting to start to get into the film industry - but just need a guide for how to get there!

Some of the topics we will focus on:
- Understanding the screenplay
- Finding your unique voice
- Dynamic writing and storytelling exercises
- Screenplay theory
- 'Breaking' into the industry

This is all based on what you want to achieve - and which direction you as a writer want to go in.

Want to write Features? TV? Horror? Drama? It all starts with a strong foundation of knowledge which I can provide you with - within just a few lessons your writing and screenplays will improve.

I hope to help you build your career by giving you the keys to success and plenty of the exercises to get you there!
