About Olivia
As a recent graduate of the SFU Faculty of Education, I bring not only a solid foundation in teaching methods, but also the passion and curiosity of someone who’s just stepped into the field with fresh eyes. I approach each lesson with energy, patience, and a strong belief that learning should feel empowering—not intimidating. Throughout my teaching experience, I've had the privilege of working with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, language abilities, and learning styles. This has taught me that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to education. I tailor my lessons to meet each student where they are, whether that means slowing down to reinforce the basics or challenging them with more advanced material. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and make mistakes—because that’s where real growth happens. Whether you're learning English for school, work, or personal development, I aim to help you build both your language skills and your confidence.
