About Nerina
As a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a DMA in Vocal Performance, I guide adults through relaxed and rewarding vocal learning. My lessons are designed for beginners, hobbyists, and returning singers looking to sing in choirs or casual settings. I believe everyone can rediscover their voice, no matter how long it’s been. We start with the basics: breath control, posture, and vocal relaxation. I emphasise mindfulness to connect body and sound for healthy singing. Tone development happens naturally through awareness and practice. I teach in styles like Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult. My approach is kind, patient, and encouraging. Every lesson is a chance to release tension and find joy in singing. I help students use music as a form of self-care and creative growth. You’ll learn to sing freely, without judgement or pressure. My teaching philosophy blends artistry with solid technique. I help students build confidence while discovering their personal sound. Lessons focus on tone shaping, projection, and resonance. You’ll learn how to create clear, expressive tone through mindful exercises. We also explore belting, head voice, and mixed voice to develop vocal variety. My teaching supports both technique and emotion equally. I specialise in working with The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner. My lessons are relaxed, goal-driven, and individualised. We build awareness of breath flow and posture to support powerful singing. I guide you to develop healthy habits that last. Singing, for me, is about finding strength through sound. My students learn to trust their voice and enjoy performing. Together, we’ll unlock your vocal confidence and full expressive range.
