Hi! I'm a friendly and patient Chinese tutor who enjoys helping people discover the Chinese language and culture.

I have one year of experience teaching Chinese, mainly to beginners. I understand that starting a new language can feel challenging, especially when it comes to pronunciation and tones. I pay particular attention to these areas and enjoy helping students recognize and correct their pronunciation mistakes.

As someone who has lived in Japan for over 12 years and learned Japanese from beginner level to JLPT N1 in three years, I understand what it feels like to learn a foreign language. This experience helps me understand learners' difficulties and explain things in a clear and practical way.

I can communicate in Chinese, Japanese, and English, so you can ask questions in the language you're most comfortable with. My goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where you can practice without feeling nervous or embarrassed about making mistakes.

About the lesson

I have one year of experience teaching Chinese and mainly work with beginners. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in Mandarin, especially pronunciation, tones and everyday conversation.

Pronunciation correction is one of my strengths. I pay close attention to how students pronounce Chinese sounds and tones, identify common mistakes, and provide clear, practical guidance to help them improve. Rather than simply repeating words, you'll learn how to pronounce them more accurately and confidently.

I can explain Chinese pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary in Japanese or English, depending on your preference. Having lived in Japan for over 12 years, I understand some of the challenges Japanese speakers face when learning Mandarin, particularly with sounds and tones that do not exist in Japanese.

Lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to your pace. Whether you're learning Chinese for travel, daily communication or personal interest, I'll help you develop your skills step by step.
