About Wynand

I'm currently working on software to improve learning loops, and take a deep interest in ways to improve the educational experience. My approach improves absorption and long-term retention and understanding of the material in question, and empowers learners with the learning techniques and resources to keep learning new subjects in the future.

About the lesson

- I make use of scaffolding, spaced repetition and other tried-and-true techniques to progressively build understanding and intuition.
- Students are actively involved via methods like active recall
- The above two points improve long-term retention and reduce (albeit don't eliminate) the need for exam revision
- I provide resources; custom notes, example problems and problem sets in line with NSC standards
- Teaching in English and Afrikaans
