My lessons are custom-tailored for each student's needs and goals. I offer a step-by-step approach to playing that is both flexible and fun. It includes all the essential ingredients needed to become a well-rounded musician. All levels and styles are taught. Half-hour lessons are available at $50.
Some areas of study include developing a proper technique (both with a pick and fingerstyle), understanding the theory behind what you are playing, developing a good ear (ear training), songwriting, preparing for auditions, and most importantly - encouraging a lifelong love of music and playing!

Ed O'Brien is a terrific teacher! I've been taking lessons from him for a few months on the ukulele and would recommend him to anyone who want to learn a new instrument or improve on an old one. Highly qualified and very patient. Give him a call--you won't regret it!
