About Christi
Working with singers who want to find their authentic sound is what I do best. My journey began 13 years ago gigging across the American South, where I learned the nuances of microphone technique, performance confidence, and genre styling like pop or musical theater.
Having guided 131 students through exam preparation and the intricacies of belting technique or breathing control, I emphasize tone, resonance, sight singing, and diction. My background as an Americana performer informs how I approach these technical elements with a grounded perspective. You will see how these components fit together naturally.

First sessions involve a casual assessment of your current range and technical goals. We break down your favorite songs while utilizing my personal notes on breathing and warm-up exercises. My 13 years of experience gigging in small venues allows me to provide feedback on your stage presence and delivery. Students receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to keep their voice healthy between our meetings.
Since I hold a BFA from USC Thornton, I keep my technical standards high while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. I really look forward to hearing your unique voice grow.
