About Scott
I walked into my first college classroom as a teacher in 1987. Believe me, I have seen every kind of student and every kind of artistic challenge. My first two professional exhibitions after I graduated were in Paris France where I lived for a year and New York City. I have constantly looked to better ways to teach writing several helpful lab books and creating over 200 video tutorials.

I am knowledgeable about what makes great portfolios. The goal is often to create 20 excellent examples of your creativity to get into art programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. I don’t have a “cookie cutter” fort all students and take the time to find out what is unique about the student before leading them towards a great path towards a portfolio.
