About Aydin

I'm a first-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Southampton. I grew up bilingual in English and French, and I studied at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in London, where I earned the French Baccalauréat with high honours. My specialities were Maths, Physics-Chemistry and Computer Science.

I know how it feels to find a topic confusing at first, and I enjoy finding the explanation that finally makes it click. I'm patient, friendly and reliable, and I want every student to leave lessons feeling more confident than when they started.

Every lesson starts with where you actually are. In the first session, I find out what you're confident with and where you're getting stuck, then build a plan around your goals, whether that's catching up, keeping on top of schoolwork or preparing for GCSEs.

Maths, Physics and Computer Science: I explain each idea step by step, check you understand it, then move on to exam-style questions until the method feels natural. I also teach exam technique, like showing your working and reading questions carefully.

French: As a native speaker, I help with grammar, vocabulary, speaking confidence and GCSE exam preparation, including the speaking and writing papers.

Lessons are patient, relaxed and structured. You can ask as many questions as you like, and there's no such thing as a silly one. After each lesson, I set a few practice questions so you keep making progress between sessions.
