Science of Reading-Based Instruction
I use evidence-based methods aligned with the Science of Reading to build strong literacy skills. This includes:
• Explicit phonics and phonemic awareness instruction
• Decoding strategies for word recognition and fluency
• Structured support for reading comprehension using rich, grade-level texts
• Systematic writing instruction focusing on sentence structure, organization, and grammar

Vocabulary & Oral Language Development
I integrate vocabulary building and oral language practice across all subjects through:
• Visuals, sentence stems, and academic language scaffolds
• Structured conversation practice
• Read-alouds and interactive storytelling
• Content-specific vocabulary in reading, writing, and math

Math Instruction Aligned to Core Standards
I teach math concepts using clear, step-by-step methods that align with state and Common Core standards. Students receive support in:
• Foundational operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
