About Rebecca
I am currently studying in my second year at the University of Oxford on an integrated masters course in Biochemistry (Molecular and Cellular). This means I have a broad knowledge of both physical and organic chemistry at a degree level, particularly in applied situations. I am familiar with the structure of the GCSE and A-Level courses and have a very strong understanding of what examiners expect to see in a A*/9 grade answer. I am an experienced tutor, helping younger students at school through a peer-tutor system, and have also successfully coached two students (one Chemistry and one Biochemistry) through the Oxford interview processI am currently studying at the University of Oxford on an integrated masters course in Biochemistry (Molecular and Cellular). I am an experienced tutor who teaches with a personalised approach to each student-I understand that not every student can be taught the same way and am able to adapt to that. The typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, as A-Level subjects can become overwhelming after extended periods of time, which I appreciate. I am qualified to teach A-Level or GCSE Chemistry as I achieved top grades at both levels myself and have since successfully achieved high grades in Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry courses within my degree.
