About Whitney
I have spent 9 years teaching biology, holding a B.Sc in Life Sciences and an M.Sc in Molecular Biology. My experience involves guiding students across levels, helping them develop conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities in life sciences.

My lessons cover molecular biology, human physiology, genetics, evolutionary biology, ecology, and microbiology, emphasizing both conceptual understanding and applied reasoning. I use diagrams, interactive exercises, simulations, and real-world examples to connect abstract principles to observable phenomena, nurturing curiosity and analytical thinking while reinforcing problem-solving and critical observation skills.
Lessons are tailored to individual proficiency levels. Beginners focus on basic cell biology, fundamental genetics, simple ecology, and introductory physiology, ensuring a solid conceptual foundation. Intermediate learners study metabolic pathways, advanced genetics, molecular mechanisms, and ecological interactions, developing analytical and integrative skills. Advanced learners tackle genomics, experimental design, molecular biology techniques, advanced human physiology, and research-based applications.
