About Helena
My fascination with life sciences began with observing the natural world and asking questions about how living systems function and interact. This passion led me to complete a B.Sc in Life Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, which provided deep insight into both cellular processes and broader ecological systems. Over the past 9 years, I have guided learners across diverse levels, helping them develop strong foundational knowledge and advanced analytical skills.
I believe in teaching biology with patience, clarity, and hands-on engagement. Lessons integrate interactive models, real-life examples, laboratory concepts, and problem-solving exercises, helping learners internalize complex ideas and develop scientific thinking. I encourage students to question, experiment, and explore topics at their own pace while maintaining conceptual accuracy and practical understanding.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with research, scientific literature, and current developments in biology, which enhances the relevance and excitement of my lessons. Teaching biology is deeply rewarding because I witness learners transform curiosity into understanding, building confidence, analytical abilities, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Supporting their intellectual and personal growth in this way is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
