About Marina
My passion for biology began with deep curiosity about how living organisms function with such complexity and balance. This interest led me to earn a B.Sc in Biological Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Human Physiology, where I studied genetics, anatomy, microbiology, and advanced life science research. Over 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through biology with patience, clarity, and structured support that builds strong understanding over time.
I believe biology should be taught through connection and reasoning rather than memorization alone. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex systems into clear steps, using visuals, storytelling approaches, and real-life examples to make lessons memorable. I encourage students to ask questions freely and to feel comfortable exploring difficult concepts. Many learners gain confidence when they realize biology follows logical patterns across all living systems.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with biology through scientific reading, health research, and continual exploration of new discoveries in modern life science. Teaching biology is meaningful because students often transform from feeling overwhelmed into feeling curious and capable.
