About Finn
My fascination with life sciences began during my PhD in Biology, where I studied molecular and ecological systems in depth. I developed a strong passion for understanding how life functions at every level, from microscopic cells to whole ecosystems. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students through foundational and advanced biology topics, helping them develop understanding, curiosity, and confidence.
I approach teaching biology with patience, clarity, and an emphasis on real-life connections. I break down complex processes into manageable concepts and use examples from nature, labs, and daily life to make lessons relatable. My goal is to help students develop analytical thinking, scientific curiosity, and the confidence to explore biology independently.
Outside teaching, I engage in research reading, nature observation, and participation in science communication. This enriches my lessons and provides students with relevant, current examples. Teaching biology is highly rewarding because I witness students transform from uncertainty to understanding, gain confidence in scientific reasoning, and cultivate a genuine curiosity about the living world. Seeing learners develop skills, critical thinking, and a love for biology is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Over time, learners build confidence in explaining biological concepts and solving problems independently. My goal is to make biology accessible, engaging, and practical, helping students develop both academic skills and a lifelong interest in life sciences.
