About Sydney
I’m a current sophomore at West Virginia University. I am studying biomedical engineering, which requires a lot of math, including calculus classes, physics, chemistry, etc. I have been thrown a lot of different math topics to master in the past year and I would like to say I have been able to tackle all of it. I go about my math skills by making sure I understand math and I am now ready to help others understand as well!

Over the years of taking many math courses, I have learned that everyone learns very differently. However, from helping my friends and classmates, I have found the best way to learn is to watch one example of a problem and then give them a problem to do on their own. They will then understand what they have trouble with. From there, I would be able to figure out some of their patterns of what they find difficult and be able to focus on their main weaknesses. I believe the best course of action in order to improve is to practice and understand math rather than just memorize math!
