About Ishaan

I'm a Biomedical Engineering student at Monash and a recent IB graduate with a real passion for math and teaching. I see tutoring not just as helping others but as a way to sharpen my own skills as a future engineer, especially when it comes to communicating complex ideas simply and clearly. I don’t just go through the motions—I aim to make each lesson a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and actually enjoying the process of learning. Whether it’s breaking down tricky algebra, tackling IB exam questions, or even linking math to real-world engineering concepts (like vectors and complex numbers—I use them every day!), I’m here to help things click. If you’re looking to boost your marks, build confidence, or just finally get what’s going on in class, I’ve got you. I’ll bring patience, structure, and a bit of fun to every session.

About the lesson

I keep my lessons relaxed, clear, and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down tricky concepts and making math feel less overwhelming. I use examples, diagrams, and lots of practice (I have access to thousands of past papers) to help ideas stick. I’m big on helping students build confidence—not just cram for exams.

Lessons usually go for about an hour, but I’m flexible depending on what works best.

I recently finished the IB myself, so I get what it’s like and how stressful it can be. Now I’m studying Biomedical Engineering at Monash, and I really enjoy helping younger students through the stuff I’ve just been through.

My lessons are great for Year 7–10 students or anyone doing IB Math AA or AI at the SL level. Whether you’re struggling, aiming for top marks, or just want a bit of extra support, I’ve got you!
