About Liza
Biology has always been my strongest suit. The overall grade of a lot of students suffers due to intimidating subjects like Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry which can really make students nervous. I aim to help students ace subjects like these and make them more confident about it. My approach to these subjects is very conceptual and I believe it should be taught in the same manner. Most of my sets will predominantly involve the use of graphical presentations and schematics to ensure better memory retention.

I am a research student pursuing my Biomedical Sciences degree at the University of Edinburgh. I consider myself to be a very confident Biology teacher because I have been very thorough with this subject for the past 7 years. Biology is often misunderstood to be a rote learning subject and I believe my love for this subject can expose the students to a more conceptual understanding of it. My classes will be fun and will allow free and imaginative thinking and very thorough with the syllabus topics. I will be available on the weekends and in the mornings preferably (in case you have any plans for the evening). I can offer classes to students in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Undergraduate students (Biotechnology, Microbiology)at the University can also reach out!
