About Blue

Hello, friends! I'm Xiaomin.

I am a new tutor on Superprof, but not new in Chinese teaching. With three years experience of on and offline language teaching, I specialize in teaching Chinese in a systematic way that follows the rules of language learning.

Here are my brief self-introduction.

--I was born and raised in Mainland China. Mandarin is my mother tongue.
--I have three years of language teaching experience.
--I can use fluent English and Cantonese to assist my teaching.
--Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from a Top 10 university in China.
--I have "Certificate of Putonghua Proficiency Test Level" Grade 2A certificate in China.
--I like to bring my amazing experience of traveling, reading and singing into my classes.

About the lesson

*What kind of courses does Xiaomin offer?

Unlike regular online Chinese lessons, based on HSK or YCT Chinese teaching syllabus, I offer 2 types of customized lessons, so I need to communicate with you well in advance.

OPTION 1 — If you are an active learner with plenty of time, I recommend the "flipped classroom".
I will provide you with the study materials before the class, and after completing the self-study, we will practice together in the class, and I will also answer your questions and do more extended exercises for you. The advantage of this is that it maximizes the efficiency of our class.

OPTION 2 — If you are very busy with your work and life, but really like or need to learn Chinese, then I can arrange more for you. In class, we work step by step to fully learn and practice the language material, and after class you just need to follow the guidelines to complete the exercises.

OPTION X —, if you are somewhere in between, we can find a balance between the two types.
