About Pedro

I am a current professor of the famous gym called EL RAYO associated to the Madrid Boxing Federation for 10 years. In the world of boxing I have been training for approximately 17 years , since I was 14 years old. I was the first university champion of Madrid in 2009, having made several amateur fights and participated with the Spanish boxing team in intensive training in the cradle of boxing "Cuba" I have the title of coach and I have participated in countless boxing courses and personal defense, in addition to having practiced since childhood other martial arts such as karate, kick-boxing, capoeira, muay-thai and boxing. I am a person educated with various university studies in renewable energy and international trade, which makes me have enough skills to deal with any public who wants to learn the noble art of boxing and self defense.

About the lesson

My boxing methodology is simple and complex at the same time. Working simple techniques, from less to more, until achieving excellence in hitting and techniques, to achieve long combinations of high demands in difficult conditions for the student. I like to focus my workouts towards personal defense, in possible real situations, both outside and inside the ring. The technique, coordination, movements, defense, power and reflexes are skills that are acquired over time but are worked on daily in the classes. Flexibility and physical preparation play an important role at the beginning, during and end of the class. I like to include, whenever the student wishes, kick-boxing techniques to expand resources in personal defense. I have enough sensitivity to help students who have suffered bullying or gender violence.
