About Jayne
I am a passionate singing tutor with over 8 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional workplaces. I focus on helping students discover their unique voice, improve technical skills, and gain the confidence to perform anywhere. Singing is not just about technique—it’s about expression, creativity, and connecting with music, and I guide my students to master all of these aspects.
My lessons are interactive, practical, and student-focused. I teach essential vocal techniques including breath control, pitch accuracy, tone modulation, and vocal projection. I also cover music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and performance skills such as stage presence and expressive interpretation. By combining structured exercises with real-life examples, I make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I adapt lessons to suit each student’s goals and level. Beginners receive patient guidance to build a strong foundation, while advanced learners are coached to refine techniques, prepare for performances, and overcome challenges such as stage anxiety or vocal strain. I emphasise consistent practice, feedback, and progress tracking to ensure measurable improvement.
I aim to create a supportive, motivating, and inspiring environment where students feel confident exploring their voice, expressing themselves, and developing a lifelong love for singing.

My teaching methodology for Singing combines technical training with emotional support to help students grow steadily and confidently. I use real-life examples and case studies from songs, recordings, and performances to explain vocal techniques in a practical and easy way.
Empathy is central to my teaching, as I understand that every student’s vocal journey is different. I follow a flexible teaching approach, adapting lessons according to learning pace, vocal strength, and individual goals. Clear communication helps students understand instructions and feedback without confusion.
Through a problem-solving approach, I help students overcome vocal challenges such as breath support issues, pitch control, and voice strain using simple exercises. In addition to Singing, I teach supporting subjects like music fundamentals, ear training, rhythm practice, vocal health, and performance preparation.
