About Madeline
I have 9 years of experience teaching singing to students from K-12 to early college in live online one-to-one lessons. I completed my education at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I developed strong expertise in music and vocal training. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and confidence-focused. I have helped many students improve their vocal clarity, control, and stage presence while also building self-confidence. I was honored with the Vocal Training Excellence Award for my effective teaching approach. I enjoy helping each student discover their unique voice and grow comfortably.

In my singing lessons, I create a comfortable and encouraging space where you can develop your voice with confidence and clarity. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with, through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. We focus on breathing control, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal strength, and expressive singing so your performance feels natural and powerful. I also include music reading, music theory, and choir-style techniques to build a deeper understanding of music. I also provide comprehensive guidance on practice problems, homework, assignments, and exam preparation when needed, especially for school-based music learning. You can share your songs, doubts, or goals before the lesson, and I will design each session exactly according to your needs.
