About Daniil

I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to health and well-being.

Being a college student in a new world of online education, it's important to start my day with meditation and a hot cup of black tea to then proceed to spend time helping students like me get a better grasp of math material that many teachers fail to cover wholly.

I've been rigorously studying mathematics ever since I first memorized the multiplication table while specializing in ways I can help others get a better understanding of the material and propel them in their own educational journey.

That sounds a bit boring and corporate... so let me give you a real-life example! I've spent the last few years working as a Mathematics Tutor at Sierra College.

I've had numerous students come back to me out of the entire tutoring department because had the ability to not just give them an answer to a problem, but find a personalized approach to explain the topics in their own language.

I didn't use any funny tricks or hacks to do that - I just naturally looked for ways I can connect with the student on a personal level before even talking about math.

And that's what I'm most proud of: giving a chance for success to students who are trying to do their best and reach new heights on their academic path.

About the lesson

I am not a superhuman who was blessed with the math genes of Isaan Newton himself.

I'm just a college student who was passionate about studying math and finding new ways in which I can help those who went through similar struggles I had with professors when trying to learn a new topic.

Before jumping into any tutoring work, I first like to get to know the students I help on a personal level. Without building a trustworthy bond, there's no way I can even begin helping if I don't know the root cause of the issue.

Unlike most online tutors, I make sure that my tutoring sessions are as close to a "friend helping another friend" rather than a "teacher helping another student". That way we can both enjoy the process and finally get you to understand and complete the homework that's been bugging you this whole time.
