About Tigist

Hi. I am a Caltech Students studying Bioeingineering. I have 2 years of in Lab research experience, and I am an under graduate researcher in the shapiro lab, studing gas vesicles. I attend Caltech on a full scholarship. I was the head of my highschool tutoring program, as well as the founder. I have tutored students from elementary school to higschool level in the past.

She is very willing to learn, and receptive to information. When I asked her to try the questions herself, she was a little apprehensive but after a few, she gained confidence and was able to learn and answer the questions quickly. I hope in the future, she can be more comfortable asking me questions, but I understand that is a matter of time, and comfort!
