About Tomiris

My lessons are personalised, engaging, and result-driven, tailored to meet each student’s specific goals and learning style. Whether you are aiming for top exam results, preparing for coursework, or developing critical thinking for academic competitions, every session is designed to build confidence and mastery.

Each student receives individual access to a digital study resources folder, including class materials, exam practice tasks, and topic summaries. These materials are fully aligned with the Cambridge syllabus and support learning beyond the lesson.

I combine past paper practice, targeted revision strategies, and interactive discussions with real-world case studies to ensure deep understanding and high performance.

I have authentic teaching materials, use interactive teaching methods, and hold experience working with students online.

About the lesson

I am a qualified and experienced teacher currently working at a COBIS-accredited international school, specialising in IGCSE and A Level Business, Economics, and Statistics. With a strong academic foundation and extensive classroom and one-to-one tutoring experience, I consistently support students in achieving — and often exceeding — their academic potential.

I hold a BSc in Business Economics and an MSc from Imperial College London, and I have designed full subject curricula aligned with international exam boards. In addition, I have authored and professionally published my own revision guides and exam preparation books, which my students actively use for independent study and exam success.

In 2025, my students achieved 1st place in Statistics and 3rd place in Business in a prestigious academic competition organised by UK Russell Group universities, earning a fully funded two-week academic study trip to the United Kingdom. In the same year, 100% of my IGCSE Business Studies students achieved A or A* grades in the May examination session — a first-time result of this level within the school’s history.

To maintain the highest standards of teaching excellence, I engage in continuous professional development, including Cambridge International training, examiner and marking seminars, international education conferences, and subject-specific workshops. This commitment ensures that my teaching practice remains current, rigorous, and fully aligned with leading international standards.
