About Francesca
My name is Francesca. When I was younger, I sought tutoring in my weaker subjects, and the help that I received was imperative to my academic success. Having someone who had the patience to understand how I learnt best and apply this to their explanations was all I needed to unlock my potential. I believe that the education system is set up so that anyone can thrive, provided they work hard and have someone that can teach them in a way that works for them. In my tutoring I strive to be that person for someone else.
Having graduated from Cambridge University I am familiar with both the stressing and rewarding nature of academics. I hope to provide you with lessons that will enable you to enjoy learning the subject whilst simultaneously producing the best possible results.

Observing how other people think and being able to communicate ideas in a way that makes sense to them is a challenge I find deeply rewarding. Taking the time to talk through an idea until it fully clicks with a student not only conveys the necessary information, but also instils in them an appreciation for the rewarding nature of education. It allows the student to enjoy the process as well as observe the outcome. I aim to be a teacher whom students feel comfortable with, so that they can express their understanding and their confusion in equal measure, ensuring that no stone is left unturned and that both their improvement and enjoyment of the subject are maximised.
I offer lessons of any length so that they work best with your schedule, however, a typical lesson will be 55 mins.
