About Deborah
Stage fear prevents many singers from sharing their true voice with an audience. I identify physical tension immediately during our initial warm-up exercises. My instruction focuses heavily on breathing control to stabilise your sound across every register.
You will receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to guide your independent practice sessions. My approach stems from 13 years of professional performance and academic study. Teens and advanced learners benefit from the technical clarity I bring to performance confidence.
We build resonance through specific, targeted exercises tailored to your anatomy. May your musical journey be as rewarding and precise as the work we do together.

Singing felt like a natural extension of my internal world long before I entered the conservatoire. Years of performing have taught me that technical skill remains secondary to genuine expression. My students range from teens navigating their changing voices to self-taught players needing formal structure. I have guided 255 individuals through the complexities of stage fear management and tone control.
My MMus Voice degree provides the rigorous foundation required for advanced learners who aim for technical perfection. Working with hobbyists allows me to share the joy of music in a relaxed, honest environment. I prioritise clear communication and patience in every interaction. Music remains a constant source of inspiration in my personal life.
