I can't do this says the pupil; Yet is my response!

Clare has been tutoring the Blue School for 3 years and has been a great asset to the provision we are able to give disadvantaged children. She has a calm manner and students enjoy her sessions. They have found them to be helpful and relevant and she adapts to the needs of the young person with ease. She is good at communicating with the school and the students and thinks ahead to potential problems and provides possible solutions. She is a great tutor and helps increase the confidence of the students she works with.

I have known Clare Colgan for about 4 years as a friend and as a Science and Maths tutor for my business. I have contracted tutoring work out to Clare since June 2018. It is ongoing. Her health record is very good.

As an experienced teacher, Clare is very well-trained and used to keeping sensitive information about pupils’ confidential. However, she fully understands that she needs to inform my Designated Safeguarding Lead if there are any Child Protection issues with the pupils she tutors.
Clare is able to tailor every lesson to the individual’s ability and needs in both Maths and Science up to Foundation Level at GCSE.
