About Brenda
I started my professional career as a Recruiter for a firm based in Gauteng, SA and progressed through the lines of Human Resources where I was employed as a Talent and Organisational Development Specialist. The industries I covered was Business Consulting, Logistics and most recently the Tourism and Hospitality Sector.
I hold qualifications in Marketing and Visual Communication, as well as Certification in Labour Relations and HR Management.
My leadership, coaching and mentor experience expands over a 15 year period, whereby I have positively influenced and guided both small and large groups of Employees.

Coaching is a very strong form of "learning" in that one is assisted to look at scenarios and situations critically and with guidance. I strongly believe that an individual develops stronger when encouraged to delve into self reflection and situation analysis. YES, there is much to learn from text books and working papers, however the true learnings are generated from practical experience and guidance on handling various scenarios, of which not one is ever really the same.
I have found that the majority of students I have mentored over the years sometimes has the solution or plan of action to the "problem" but needs the re-assurance or reflection from an objective, critical and in-biased individual who can guide and motivate both emotions and actions.
It is most rewarding to see my students gain a feeling of full accomplishment, and afterwards realising they themselves made the "impossible" POSSIBLE!
