About Kara
I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University and have been teaching in public schools since 2020. I love helping kids with learning difficulties and have experience teaching kids with dyslexia and autism. I currently use the Letterland phonics program at my school but I am familiar with other programs as well.

I could not read well until I was in the third grade. Now, I love teaching kids (especially K-3) how to read, write, and comprehend what they are reading. I want kids to be able to enjoy reading and love it as much as I do.
