About KASSIM

I am a qualified Mathematics and Physics teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics from Kenyatta University and several years of experience teaching secondary and high school students. I currently teach Cambridge, IGCSE, IB, and Edexcel curricula, helping students strengthen their understanding, improve their confidence, and achieve excellent academic results.

My teaching style is professional, patient, and highly supportive. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual learning needs and academic goals. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for examinations, or aiming for top grades, I provide structured guidance and consistent support throughout the learning process.

I take pride in creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in challenging topics. My lessons are well-organized, interactive, and focused on building both understanding and exam performance. I also provide practice exercises, revision support, and clear explanations that simplify complex concepts.

As an active educator and member of the Kenya Physics Association, I remain committed to continuous learning and professional growth. My goal is not only to help students pass examinations but also to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine appreciation for Mathematics and Physics.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered and exam-focused teaching approach that simplifies difficult Math and Physics concepts into easy, manageable steps. My lessons combine clear explanations, guided practice, real exam questions, and interactive discussions to help students build confidence and improve problem-solving skills. I believe every student can succeed when concepts are taught with patience, structure, and consistency.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous work, followed by concept explanation using examples and illustrations. Students then solve practice questions with my guidance before attempting independent exercises. I also include exam strategies, common mistakes to avoid, and short assessments to monitor progress.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex topics in a simple and relatable way while adapting lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. With experience teaching Cambridge, IGCSE, IB, and Edexcel curricula, I understand the standards and expectations required for academic success. I focus not only on grades but also on helping students develop analytical thinking and long-term understanding.
