About Casey
I’m a certified high school teacher with 10 years of experience working closely with students who have a wide range of learning, behavioral, and social needs. I currently run a behavior unit at my school, where I support students in building the skills they need to be successful both academically and in everyday situations.
Over the years, I’ve worked alongside students with specific deficits in areas like focus, organization, behavior, social skills, and executive functioning. This has given me a strong understanding of how to adjust instruction, stay consistent, and help students make real progress over time.
I take this work seriously, and I’m committed to creating a structured, supportive environment where students feel comfortable but also challenged to grow. I’m dependable, prepared, and intentional with how I plan each session.
Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy what I do. I take pride in helping students build confidence, develop independence, and see progress in themselves. When you work with me, you can expect consistency, professionalism, and someone who is fully invested in helping students succeed. Let's get to work!

Hey, I’m Casey. I’m a certified special education teacher working in a high school behavior unit, and I spend my day helping students figure things out when school and life feel overwhelming.
My approach is all about meeting students where they are and thinking outside of the box. Not every student learns the same way, so I don’t teach the same way every time. I break things down into simple steps, use real-life examples, and focus on building skills that actually stick. A big part of what I teach is social skills and executive functioning—things like staying organized, getting started on work, managing frustration, and communicating appropriately with others.
A typical session depends on the student. Sometimes we’re working through school assignments, and other times we’re focused on building routines, staying on task, or practicing real-life situations. Most sessions include a mix of academic support and skill-building, so students are not just getting help with work, they’re learning how to handle it on their own. That’s what I focus on: building self-advocacy and independence.
I’m easy to work with and very flexible. I adjust everything to fit the student. If something isn’t working, we switch it up. I’ve worked with students from 4th grade through seniors in high school, so I’m comfortable supporting a wide range of needs, including students who need extra help with behavior, focus, organization, or social skills.
What sets me apart is my experience working with students who need more than just academic help. I work every day on behavior, peer interaction, and helping students function successfully in real environments. I also understand this process personally, so I know what it takes to build better habits and make real progress.
My lessons are a great fit for students in upper elementary, middle school, and high school who need support with learning, behavior, executive functioning, or social skills. If a student needs structure, flexibility, and someone who can adapt to how they learn best, I’m here to help.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Mr. Napier and I are former colleagues who worked closely together serving students with behavioral needs and students with disabilities. During our time working together, I was consistently impressed with his ability to build strong relationships with students while maintaining high expectations and structure within the classroom. He does an excellent job adapting to the individual needs of students and works hard to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Mr. Napier communicates well with staff, students, and families, and he consistently demonstrates patience, professionalism, and dedication in challenging situations. His experience and commitment make him a strong advocate for student success both academically and behaviorally.
Casey worked with my child on social skills. He was great at making a true connection with my child and was able to relate all the content to him. He was wonderful to work with; I would highly recommend him.
Casey is a natural leader who brings both professionalism and approachability into every environment he’s part of.
His work in special education is especially impactful. He has a strong ability to connect with students, meet them where they are, and help them grow both academically and personally. At the same time, his skills extend well beyond that area he’s comfortable working across different subjects and grade levels, always adapting his approach to fit the needs of his students.
What stands out most is his willingness to help. Whether it’s supporting a student who’s struggling, collaborating with colleagues, or stepping up when something needs to get done, he’s dependable and thoughtful in everything he does. He creates a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
He’s the kind of educator and person you can rely on, and any school or team would benefit from having him.I have worked with Casey for many years and since the first day of us working together, we have had such great chemistry. Casey is very hardworking, communicates well with his students and co-workers and makes the work environment super enjoyable. With his students, he is on top of them but also an outlet for them to be comfortable and be themselves and be accepted for who they are. He is the true definition of a teacher. As for me personally, I am a little biased but Casey is one of the greatest co-workers I’ve ever had. Our relationship transcends the workplace. He is a valued friend and someone you want as a friend. He is a phenomenal person and I can’t say many better words about him and the work he does!
