About Stephen
With nearly thirty years of teaching English to both children and adults, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to education. My credentials include certifications in High School English, English as a Second Language, and TEFL. I have taught in diverse settings, including China, Mexico, Spain, and an isolated Indigenous reservation in Northern Alaska. My experience spans university-level instruction, private academies, business conference rooms, public high schools, and boarding schools. My greatest strength is my patience, a quality that has always been central to my teaching approach. This patience, combined with my personal experience learning Spanish and Chinese, allows me to deeply understand the challenges of learning English as a foreign language.
