About Frank
I’m a chef and father of 3, a husband and caretaker. I have owned businesses that have been successful and failed. I have my degree in culinary arts management, yet I have picked up electives that are useful in my career. I love kids and teaching. I love service to others and I would love to be an influence that brings progress and joy to those growing in a world of solitude and social media acceptance. The kitchen takes the digital world away and brings kids back to reality and fun in service to others. Cooking is a skill everyone needs and brings grit and respect to those who choose it.

I would start by teaching the basics of the French cuisine, the terminology, and the history. I’d then transition into the science and safety of biology and chemistry of food. I’d then bring it into the basics of cooking and following recipes from broths to mother sauces and egg temps and how to produce protein temps to precision. Then I’d work into more complicated dishes and science and last plating and sanitizing would be a daily thing. I’d create a brigade of students and lastly give them all a taste of the line working events for the school and bake sales and also working the cafeteria for their peers. Creating menus and dishes as projects and social engagement. I will create chefs while teaching science, responsibility, math with yields and entrepreneurship by melding skills with logic of the restaurant business. I’d have hospitality as well, training them to work the front of house and accounting of overhead. We will create business and sustain them on week three.
