About Laura

I am a Speech (and Drama) Teacher at The Cheltenham Ladies' College and have been giving private lessons for over 18 years. I have a Degree in Voice & Acting from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. I help students from all over the world to reduce their accent and speak English fluently and with command. Professionals who speak English as their second language find my English Pronunciation Lessons particularly useful.

About the lesson

My teaching method: Starts with a free Initial Assessment. All lessons via Zoom or alternative. Tailor-made to each Individual's Requirements Identify areas of Weakness and Goal Setting within a Specific Time Frame. Second Lesson onwards: Vocal Muscle Exercises Tongue Twisters Echo Speaking to Improve Listening Skills Working with Text to Identify Key Accent Issues Confidence Building Vocal Exercises Weekly Video Recording sent with a Short Homework Each Week's Work Sent In Advance

She makes students feel comfortable, explains everything about the process of changing voice, enhancing communication etc.... she's like 10 teachers in 1. I'm really surprised she charges so little. I paid straight away for 10 sessions. I know I couldn't have spent my money better. In just one session she prepared me for a 2 hour radio show. I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do in one year. (Anna) 5-star rating

I give 30-minute sessions rather than hourly as I have found that students concentrate much better for a shorter time. I send a video after each lesson so that learners can go over the work we have done in the lesson in their own time and at their own pace, whenever they like.
