About Emma

Hi, I'm Emma! After getting my undergraduate in chemical & biomolecular engineering from Georgia Tech, I entered the manufacturing work force as a production manager at Anheuser-Busch. In addition to equipment troubleshooting, my favorite part of the job was upskilling operators to learn more about the packaging process and their role in the operation.

Inspired by my passion for teaching others, I am now a student at Northeastern University pursuing my Masters in Education. When I'm not studying the theory and techniques behind learning and instruction, I work as a tutor helping students on their own education journey. I hope we get the opportunity to work with each other!

About the lesson

I get to know my students as individuals in order to tailor my lessons to their unique talents and needs. If a certain strategy isn't clicking for you - that's okay! Due to my experience in both higher education and the engineering workforce, I've always got another way to show you how to tackle the problem or topic. We'll work together to understand not only how to get the answer but also why the answer makes sense.
