About Markus
I am originally from Sweden but I've lived in the U.S. for over seven years, which is where I went to college for environmental engineering and chemistry. While in college, I worked in an air quality lab doing vehicle emissions research. Now, I'm doing graduate research at the University of Calgary. My studies focus on electrochemical wastewater treatment. Someday I wish to teach at the university level.

I like to have a structured and organized way of teaching. This will make the learning process a lot easier. I myself have always been a top student, so I know what it takes to achieve high results. It is always important to understand why learning something is important, which increases one's motivation to study. A typical class with me will involve discussions about the material and its application in the real world. A lot of focus will be put on developing a strong and genuine interest in the subject. Of course, we will also work through a lot of practice problems together.
