About Bella

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota. I have 6+ years of experience tutoring and teaching general, organic, and analytical chemistry. I have worked with students of all ages, from middle school students to adults returning to school! I am available to tutor both virtually and in-person.

About the lesson

As a student who spends many hours a week in a lab, I am a huge proponent of learning my doing! I have worked as a teaching assistant for my school's organic chemistry courses, and I have found that the best way to understand curriculum is to grasp the concept at their cores and then practice applying them to problems.

Perfect! Bella was excellent, I hired her in search of help for calculus tutoring and she responded promptly and I originally started off with one day a week every week and she was always available with an open scheduling for help as I needed it. I genuinely didn’t think I would pass calculus as I usually don’t understand math, but I ended the semester with an A. Bella is affordable, reliable, open and so kind she really pushes you to try and figure the problems out and you will find it surprising but you’ll know way more than you originally think. She does the problems with you one on one and has so many tips for success. I highly recommend I will come back to her for help in my other classes now that I learned she is a multi-focused tutor.
