About Yu
My name is Huang Yu, and I’m from Guangzhou, China. I’m currently pursuing my postgraduate degree at UNSW in Australia. I’m a native speaker of Mandarin, and I also speak Cantonese, Hakka, and English. Growing up in a multilingual environment has given me a deep appreciation for languages and communication, which I bring into my teaching. As a Chinese language teacher, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere where students feel confident and motivated to learn. I’m passionate about helping learners not only master the language but also understand and appreciate Chinese culture.
