About Seungyeon

Classical guitarist and teacher based in London. I am a South Korean classical guitarist with formal training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Royal College of Music. I graduated with First-Class Honours from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2021 on a full scholarship, and completed a Master of Music in Performance at the Royal College of Music in 2023, followed by an Artist Diploma. Alongside my performance training, I have extensive experience teaching students of varying levels and backgrounds, and I value clear, structured learning grounded in solid technique and musical understanding.

About the lesson

I teach classical guitar to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players, including those preparing for music exams, auditions, or conservatoire study.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, with a strong emphasis on fundamental technique, posture, tone production, and musical understanding. Secure fundamentals are essential for long-term progress and healthy playing, and lessons are structured to support steady, sustainable development.

I work at each student’s pace and place importance on consistency and clear communication. Lessons are calm, focused, and supportive, helping students build confidence gradually while developing reliable practice habits over time.

If you are interested in starting lessons or have any questions, feel free to get in touch!
