About Jennifer
I have been teaching since 1985 in Washington State and Australia. I taught grades 3 - 6 for 33 years and then decided to make a change. For the next 5 years, I taught math at our local high school. I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2. In addition, I started teaching at the university level. I have taught math and math education courses for future teachers since 2018. I have been tutoring on and off since 1985. I have tutored significantly more the last 10 years, which I have really enjoyed significantly.

I strive to meet students where they are at in this moment and time. As a result, I will teach concepts and skills based on student need. I have resources for grades 3rd - 8th grade, Algebra, and Geometry. It is also important to work with the material that the student has from their school. I also strive to help students increase their self-confidence as they develop math reasoning skills.
