Clear concepts with the practical examples. Bring a cone shape cake and cut with the parallel to base you get circle, if you cut it across the one slant to other in till manner you will get ellipse,if the cut goes one slant to the base you get hyperbola and if the cut goes though one slant to the base before the centre line you will get hyperbola.
