About Avery
13 years of shipping production code shapes how I view programming. I spent those years building systems that actually work in the real world. Now I tutor part-time to help first-gen Australian CS students navigate the maze of university requirements.
Python and JavaScript are my primary tools for teaching core logic. Algorithmic thinking remains the most critical skill for any new developer. I break down complex concepts into small manageable pieces for my students.
