About Ashlyn
I am a college graduate (major: mathematics, minor: chemistry), have tutored all levels of high school math (algebra 1, algebra 2, trigonometry, geometry, precalculus, calculus) at Punahou School in Honolulu as well as multivariable calculus at Willamette University in Salem, OR. I recently moved to Sacramento, CA and want to help spread the wonders of mathematics. A few of my favorites are geometry, trigonometry, logic, and calculus.

My teaching method is investigative. I help students learn course material by asking leading questions and challenging students to think about solutions. I do my best to explain how to reach solutions and where my thought process comes from. I draw diagrams, figures, and use colors to aid explanations.
