About Arib
I'm from Bangladesh, here to study for four years. Originally I expected to become a teacher (I made slides and such for them), but then i got the opportunity to come study here, and decided that would be the best for myself.
I've always found myself helping or tutoring my classmates. I have an ability to pose the same topic form a more simple to grasp point of view. And so, when i found this site, i decided to give being a tutor a shot.
If you share my enthusiasm in all things mathematical, wonderful. If you are someone who sees it as a daunting task, lets overcome it together.

On the first day of the "lesson" I intend to sit down and essentially get to know what kind of student you are. What your study habits are, what topics exite you, what makes you want to learn. (Don't worry, i wont mark that as the free lesson.)
From the first actual lesson on, i intend to use the information that you provide me to first create a study plan. How much do you want to study, how much time do you have, how good are you at the topic and so on will be answered.
And lastly, once that is done, we will simply continue our lessons. As for what structure those will take will depend on the student. I intend to improvise and adapt my teaching method to each student i teach.

Arib has been a close friend of mine for several years, so I know him quite well. He's the kind of teacher who prioritizes understanding how you learn best, and he'll do his utmost to empathize with your perspective. Most importantly, he ensures that learning is a two-way street where he's not the only one talking.
I have known Arib for several years now, and our friendship began in a rather unique way: we met online in a storywriting group. It was through this shared passion that I quickly came to admire his deep understanding of narrative, and it wasn't long before I sought his help as a tutor.
Arib's teaching style is a perfect blend of patience and detailed explanation. He has a remarkable ability to take what might seem like a daunting concept, such as crafting a compelling climax or mastering pacing, and break it down into manageable and clear components. He doesn't just provide general advice; he takes the time to methodically explain the "why" behind each technique, using vivid examples to illustrate his points. His patient approach makes you feel at ease, encouraging you to ask questions and explore ideas without any pressure.
One of my most significant experiences with him was when I was completely stuck on a key plot device for a story I was writing. I felt that my plot was falling flat and that the story lacked momentum. Arib patiently walked me through my narrative, pointing out subtle areas where the pacing could be adjusted to build tension and suggesting alternative approaches to make the climax feel earned. He was meticulous in his feedback and took the time to explain the detailed mechanics of each suggestion, transforming a moment of creative frustration into a breakthrough.
I wholeheartedly recommend Arib to any Superprof member looking to improve their writing skills. He is an excellent tutor who possesses a rare combination of genuine expertise and a truly supportive teaching style. For anyone looking to understand the intricate art of storytelling, Arib is the ideal guide to help you find your voice and master your craft.View more recommendations
