About Riham

Hi! My name is Riham, and I am a current college student. I am in my second year at Rutgers University, and I am hoping to use my knowledge of college and lower level english to aid struggling students. I took multiple college english classes and both AP Literature and Composition and AP Language and Composition, so I am well versed with the english curriculum. In addition to this, I have had experience tutoring, both small children and otherwise. I am able to provide services for things ranging from simple grammar help to AP and SAT prep, so please don’t hesitate to ask for help!

About the lesson

My lessons will be specialized to each students needs, however a typical lesson will include an immersive lesson followed by continued practice. For instance, a student seeking SAT prep will be able to read through passages and answer questions with me, and then be given the chance to work on their own. After individual practice, we will go over everything and ensure that the student completely understands and corrects any mistakes. If a student requires help with writing or grammar, we will first look at a number of prompts, answering them together. When ready, the student will look at a new set of prompts, attempting to answer them without assistance. This will be followed by a review session, similar to what I mentioned with the SAT prep.
