About Darika

I started playing piano since I was in the 4th grade. I started off taking lessons on how to read sheet music, but as time went on, I began teaching myself how to play by ear and Youtube. I have taken violin classes since the 4th grade all the way to 8th. I was in choir in middle school for 3 years, and have been in singing competitions against the whole city of San Francisco. The rest of the instruments that I know how to play are self taught.

About the lesson

Hi Everyone! My name is Darika and I am currently a 2nd year college student attending UC Davis. I can also play 10 instruments including the ukulele, guitar, piano, violin, viola, drums, marimba, cajon, conga, & voice. I seek to teach students who wish to learn how to play either the ukulele, piano, guitar, or learn how to sing/harmonize. I am a very patient, friendly, and optimistic teacher and I will gladly teach you everything you need to know in order to make music!
