About Jeremy
I am a student at Towson University. I have an Associate's Degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Mathematics from Howard Community College. I have teaching and tutoring experience, a passion for mathematics, and am eager to work with anyone and everyone who feels lost in studying math! It's easy to feel like you "don't get it" when it comes to math, but I believe that with the right teaching strategies, anyone can master this subject.

My teaching method relies heavily on students making discoveries in subject content with guidance from an instructor. I believe that this method of exploration provides the greatest comprehension of subject matter because students are reaching their own conclusions. Additionally, I also believe that discussion is important in learning as well, as verbalizing your own thinking can reinforce problem solving methods. Lastly, I absolutely believe that practice makes perfect, and being able to recognize patterns and combine problem solving methods is best done through practicing.

If lessons need to be cancelled, please let me know at least one hour before they're scheduled to begin for a full refund. Other than that, lessons can still be cancelled within an hour for a 50% refund. I'm a college student, and I'm really looking mostly for tutoring and teaching experience as I pursue my degree, so it's more about that than the money for me. I want to help you succeed first and foremost.
