About Emma
I graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior and completed the pre-medical track. I am currently applying to medical school and have experience in neuroscience research at Columbia, MIT, and Mount Sinai, as well as clinical experience working directly with patients. I have several years of tutoring experience and enjoy helping students build confidence in math and science by breaking difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual level, goals, and learning style. I focus on helping students understand why a concept works rather than relying only on memorization. Lessons may include reviewing class material, breaking down difficult concepts, working through practice problems together, and developing strategies for exams and homework. I tutor middle school, high school, and college students in math, biology, chemistry, neuroscience, and general science.
